Have questions before booking a service? Here are answers to some of the things we're asked most often.
Get clear answers about pest control costs, preparation, treatment safety, recurring plans, and what to expect before and after service.
Minor, one-off sightings can sometimes be managed with store-bought products. But recurring activity, nests, or pests like termites, bed bugs, and scorpions usually call for professional treatment, since these problems tend to be bigger than what's visible on the surface. If you're not sure, we're happy to take a look and let you know honestly whether an inspection is worth it.
Cost depends on your property size, the pest involved, and whether you choose a one-time treatment or a recurring service plan. Rather than quote a flat number that may not reflect your situation, we provide free, no-obligation quotes so you know the exact cost before any work begins.
In most cases, no. Many treatments only require you to avoid a specific area for a short time while it dries or settles. Your technician will let you know if any part of your home needs to be temporarily avoided and when it's safe to go back in.
A little preparation goes a long way. Clearing clutter from the areas being treated, storing loose food and dishes, and providing access to spots like the garage, attic, or under sinks all help your technician work more effectively. If anything specific is needed for your appointment, we'll let you know ahead of time.
Many customers notice reduced activity within the first few days. That said, some methods, like baiting for ants or cockroaches, work gradually as the pests carry the treatment back to the colony, so full results can take one to two weeks. Pests with egg cycles, like bed bugs or fleas, often need a follow-up visit to fully resolve.
It's not unusual to see some activity in the days right after treatment as pests are flushed out or as eggs continue to hatch. If activity continues beyond what seems reasonable, reach out to us and we'll come back to reassess the situation and adjust the treatment plan as needed.
Whenever possible, yes. We try to keep the same technician on recurring accounts so they're familiar with your property and its history. Occasionally, scheduling conflicts mean a different technician covers a visit, but they'll have access to your service notes so nothing gets missed.
No. One-time treatments don't require any contract, and our recurring service plans don't lock you into a long-term commitment either. We'd rather earn your business with results than hold you to a contract.
It depends on the season and current demand, but we recommend reaching out as soon as you notice a problem. We do our best to accommodate urgent requests quickly, and scheduling a bit ahead of time helps make sure we can offer your preferred date and time.
Simple habits make a real difference: wipe down counters and store food in sealed containers, fix leaky faucets and reduce standing water, keep firewood and clutter away from your home's exterior, and seal obvious cracks around doors and windows. Your technician can point out anything specific to your property during your visit.
If you didn't find what you were looking for, reach out directly. We're happy to answer any questions before you book a service.
